A Great Love...

Posted on January 30, 2017 at 11:00am 9 Comments

A great love was reunited last night, and that is the love of my parents Hilda and Esher Ritchie. Our Mom passed away about 7:30 last night, peacefully in the company of her family, but oddly that is not the focus of this post. A couple of weekends ago, I posted this picture on Facebook with the caption “Kaitlin gets her 14 foot canoe”. I thought that post warranted a bit of an explanation so this is that post.

This story starts in the late summer in 1986. Even though Loreen was 8 months pregnant, we decided to take a…

Hi Brian, it's great to reconnect ! Lark and I have stayed in touch over the years, although we only had 3 years together while I was in Timmins we built a very strong friendship built on our experiences together in the North. I still cherish those memories as some of the best times of my life.

Organise a Perfect Event by Focusing on the Details

Posted by Adam Smith on June 8, 2017 at 3:03am 0 Comments

Planning an event is not an easy task at all, especially when it is a family affair.   From decoration to catering, there are many things you need to take care of.  While focusing on a perfect venue, décor and other things, most people forget to pay attention to the finer details like crockery, wine glasses, cocktail servers, cutlery, etc. are often selected without any consideration. Although these seem like minute details, it’s exactly these little things that matter.  Attention to detail…

How to Select Glass Replacement Services

Posted by Adam Smith on June 8, 2017 at 2:54am 0 Comments

Glass replacement should be done by qualified professionals who know the effective way to remove and install windows or other glass surfaces. However, a poorly done window replacement service will create complications, even if the best quality materials are used. Many issues like leaks, drafts, safety and security concerns might be overlooked. Structural integrity issues might arise due to improper…
