Although the worst possible timing to post this self promoting blog, in light of the tragic loss of an amazing entertainer, Robin Williams, i've been encouraged to share some extraordinary news with the Kamazooie community.

For those who have not read my blog about my very non-linear career trajectory... Hello my name is Michael and i'm an Architect.  (Now everyone in unison)... "Helloooo Michael" :)

I love Architecture and will always enjoy the idea of bringing worlds to life through paper and pen, but i really love my new career in film production, and so as a shameless plug, i wanted to let everyone know that my film "It Was You Charlie", which has gained a lot of attention on the film festival circuit is being theatrically released this Friday at 7:00pm at the TIFF Bell Lightbox Theatre.

A quick Synopsis:

A lonely graveyard-shift doorman who's world fell apart after a near fatal car accident and an even more life threatening heart break, has his life magically transformed after meeting a beautiful, free-spirited cab driver, in the darkly comic feature about coming to terms with the circumstance we call life.

I had the wonderful pleasure of working with and developing a close personal relationship with writer/director Emmanuel Shirinian, who wears his heart and soul on his sleeve as well as on the screen, and i would be very grateful if you all showed your support for his and the cast/crew's creative efforts by joining us in celebration of the Premier on Aug. 15th.
