Top Ten List of Favourite 'Mom' Moments

My Mom is the best. That's why, on this Mother's Day, I would like to pay tribute to her with my own personal Top Ten List of Favourite 'Mom' Moments

10. Getting one or more of my favourite desserts everytime I come home (butter tarts, blueberry and/or flapper pie)

9. Our trip to Lourdes, particularly the drive through the French countryside

8. Sitting in the porch on a summer's day in Chapleau, the breeze blowing in from the back yard as we catch up over a glass (ok more than one) of wine.

7. Having long, drawn out discussions about religion. (hope you are laughing at that one!)

6. Reliving fond memories and seeing old sights as we drive from Sudbury to Chapleau.

5. Receiving Skype video calls understanding that as of three years ago you didn't even own a computer!

4. Breaded partridge (spruce) fried and served with mashed potatoes and peas.

3. The way I feel when I am lucky enough to catch a few fish to leave in your freezer.

2. Late night family swims and snacks at Dow's Lake.

1. Loving me unconditionally for over 51 years and counting!
