San Diego's Family Attractions an Overview

San Diego is the second largest city in California. This Coastal city is located adjacent to the Mexican border, the Southern Region of California. Legoland California

This amusement theme park is based on the Lego toy band and is located in Carlsbad. This miniature park was opened on March 20 1999. Visitors are greeted by a 9 feet tall red dinosaur named Bronte at the entrance. This dino is entirely made of Lego blocks. Children will enjoy the action packed rides and shows arranged in this park.

The Sea World

Sea World is an animal theme park where you can see some of the world’s most fascinating aquatic species.  Killer whales, Sea lions and dolphins are the most attractive mammals found in this park. You can also enjoy the fireworks and other rides during your visit.

San Diego Zoo

 This is one of the largest zoos in United States and exhibits more than 4000 animals in 100 acres of land area in the Balboa Park.  A great way to start a day at the zoo is to board the 35-minute California guided bus tours. Apes, polar bears, flamingos and Gila monsters are the rarest species found here.

San Diego Museum of Art

This historic museum was found in February 1926. This museum is built in a plateresque style to harmonize with existing structures from the Panama–California Exposition of 1915. It has the works dates back to 5000BC to 2001 AD. Spanish works by Murillo, Zurbarán, Cotán, Ribera and El Greco are the strength of this epical monument.

I haven't been in San Diego in about 10 years but I do remember it being a lovely city.  This summer, my son Zack and I visited the LA, Burbank, Santa Monica and Malibu areas.  It was a great part of the world to see.  Looking forward to visiting California again in the not too distant future.
